Green Abalone Incense Burner – Haliotis Fulgens

The Green Abalone (Haliotis Fulgens) is a classic incense shell with a natural character and gently shimmering mother-of-pearl on the inside. Contrary to its name, the outside is usually reddish-brown to earthy, while the inside surprises with a calm, natural pearlescent luster.

The abalone shell is traditionally used for burning white sage bundles, smudges, or palo santo. Smudging is an ancient ritual practice in which herbs or fragrant woods are lit inside the shell to consciously cleanse spaces, places, or one's own energy field.

The natural openings of the shell ensure good airflow and support an even burning of the incense. Due to its robust structure, the Haliotis Fulgens is particularly well suited for regular use.
